Designed To Be Treasured
Moma Hilo is a responsible womenswear brand crafting timeless, sculptural pieces right here in London. Born from a desire to reconnect us with the clothes we wear, we champion slow fashion in a world of overproduction and disposable trends.
Every garment is made-to-order using carefully sourced deadstock fabrics and produced locally in London by female-led, small-scale manufacturers. Every piece is designed to be treasured.
Our Makers and Suppliers
At Moma Hilo, we believe that every garment carries the story of the hands that made it. Our pieces are crafted with care by skilled makers who share our commitment to craft, sustainability, and ethical production. We are proud to work with local manufacturers and deadstock fabric suppliers who bring expertise, passion, and integrity to every stage of the process.

A Moment With Artist / Illustrator Diella Valla
Diella Valla is an artist and illustrator whose work explores form, texture, and the human figure in a really instinctive way. She works entirely by hand, and that tactility comes through in her illustrations — layered, expressive, and closely connected to clothing.
For this collaboration, Diella created a series of artworks inspired by Moma Hilo pieces, focusing on shape, layering, and movement.

It All Begins With Stillness - A conversation with artist Vera Amiel
In this Journal Entry, our founder Penelope interviews artist Vera Amiel, whose delicate black ink drawings reflect the quiet strength found in everyday womanhood. Now living in North Yorkshire, Vera draws inspiration from stillness and simple gestures. After discovering Moma Hilo, she created a beautiful piece inspired by our Augusta Dress. Vera opens up about her creative path and the women who inspire her work.
